About Small Deeds Done

Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned. – Peter Marshall

After November 8, 2016, many of us wondered – what can we do? How can we help? Do we even matter?

It’s easy to become overwhelmed. It’s easy to get bogged down in the breadth and depth of the work that has to be done.

So let’s break the work down! Let’s make it manageable. Small actions are not insignificant. A grand master plan means nothing unless someone (like you) takes the small steps that need to happen to make it a reality.

And that’s what Small Deeds is all about. It’s about each of us taking regular, small steps – that together lead to massive, crushing, world-bending change.

But there’s another thing you’ll find at Small Deeds Done that you won’t find on other action sites.

To light the way we have to keep going. So Small Deeds isn’t just a list of things to add to your to-do list. It’s my goal to inspire you, to motivate you – and to show you that what you’re doing matters. That your voice matters.

I’m nothing if not persistent. Small Deeds has been published every Tuesday since November 2016 – so know that every Tuesday you’ll come back to something fresh and new.

P.S. On occasion, I might link to something, like Good and Mad (Rebecca Traister’s amazing book, which just happens to feature Small Deeds Done!). You should know that as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. But I’m never going to suggest something unless I support it! (Okay, now go and buy Good and Mad!)
